Not buying the explanation. She was turning in at a constant rate and speed, clipped the car and THEN panicked. If she stepped on the loud pedal after that it's only because she wasn't paying attention before the crash and reacted badly.

I think it's a valid application for just about every touchscreen, especially gaming where precise controls are needed. Cars though - I'm not sure the full benefits will come across because of the need for consistency.
It was built by Lawfield Engineering, who used to do a lot of the fettling & maintenance on key production TVRs and racers. They're still going as a garage - they were never part of the marque.
